September Happenings

Besides celebrating Rosh Hashanah and enjoying his grandparents visit, Lev visited the LA Zoo for a special Star Wars day.

 It was a really hot day so he then cooled down with a baby coconut in Loz Feliz.

One Shoed Boy

After a busy Saturday of beach time in the morning, Los Feliz to see Uncle Meitav's new apartment, and an outdoor movie night where we kept him out late, Lev just wanted to stay home and relax on Sunday. He wouldn't leave the house or put n clothes. He just wanted to be silly in the front yard. Who cares that he didn't have one shoe on? And snot running down his face. No big deal.

Circus Time

We were at the Ringling and Barnum Circus today. Lev wanted to go home after 10 minutes. Unfortunately, we had 2 hours to sit through. He was a trooper and humored us though. He didn't crack a smile once, yet every time he sees the Jungle Book (2-3 times per day!) he cracks up. Oh well - we won't make it a yearly tradition.

Chopsticks!

Lev learned how to use chopsticks this weekend at Okasa Sushi in Little Tokyo. Go Lev. Now he can eat his cucumber rolls like a native.

Making a Tower

One of Lev's favorite activities is building a tower with blocks. He calls the game "Make a Tower". Today he made a super tall one all by himself. Look at how straight that thing is.

He is also very much into spending time with Nico and Pam. And Nico loves spending time with Lev and idolizes Alec - so everyone is happy. They wouldn't let him out of their sight at the farmer's market so he had to do double duty. Its good exercise.

One more cute thing he does recently - if he likes a song playing on the radio he says "I like this song, make it louder" and he usually means Usher or Katy Perry.
