11 Months Old

Lev is 11 months old today. He loves banging on anything and everything - we have a future drummer on our hands. He's enamored with anything electronic that lights up so you can imagine how happy Dad is about that development. He is still crawling like mad and although he is comfortable standing on 2 feet, he won't make the leap to walking just yet. There's time. He uses his crawling skills to mischievously chase Rascal all around the house and torture her. She's been surprisingly patient with his antics. And chase balls around every corner of the house.

10 Month Stats

A delicious round of photos of Lev fresh from a nap with messy hair and pink cheeks. We got his latest stats on Friday: he is currently 17 1/2 pounds which puts him in the 3rd percentile (eeek!), 28" long which is 25th percentile (no news there), and big noggin - 75th percentile. He's a brainy boy. No surprise there.

Ten Months Old

Lev is 10 months old. I was hoping to have his latest stats, but the doctor postponed his appointment so it will have to wait. I can report that he has a third tooth coming in on top, has made "nice" with the dogger - instead of grabbing her skin, snout, and ears he has learned to lay his head on her pillow and let her lick his face. He loves shutting doors in our faces and then freaks out when he is alone in a room and can't open the door to get out. He also loves opening drawers and moving their contents directly to the floor. That never gets old. He is a good eater and will eat just about anything that we are noshing - veggie burgers, grilled cheese sandwiches, spaghetti-Os, Indian food in the last week or so. And he is almost almost sleeping through the night. Some nights are better than others. He laughs a lot and talks to himself in the car. He's loud and happy at home, but gets so shy around strangers. We noticed he grabs his ear when he's especially tongue tied.
